about me

Like most of my industry peers, I believe it’s vitally important to have a blog few people read.

I don’t want to write exclusively about work, though, so this is a space where you’ll find me musing upon things such as social media, digital culture and advertising as well film, music and creativity: mingling the personal and professional with aplomb. That’s the plan, anyway. Oh, and I’ll be titling all posts with song lyrics. You get +10 internet points for every one you can identify.

I adore the internet; I have always believed in the worth of concepts like cyber-utopianism and I feel fortunate that I have a job which enables me to put theory into practice. I work in the wonderful world of media, although my rantings here in no way reflect those of my employer…blah blah blah *insert disclaimer for litigious idiots here* It’s all me, baby….

I love film, music, literature, fine wines, travelling, gardening, hatching grand plans to save the world and infrequently following them through. I’m a member of three book clubs, one IRL and two online.  Answers to questions relating to the meaning of all this cat business may be found here and or you could learn seven random facts about me.

If you’d like to know what I think is cool on the interwebs, you could try my Tumblr, Digital Ministry articles or occasionally on Mumbrella and B&T.

In this age of over-abundant information, curating is the new creating. Or very nearly.

Catch you in the tubes….
